This is the Taj Mahal. It is one of the world's most famous and beautiful places. It has two mosques and an imposing gateway. Construction started in 1634, and ended in almost 22 years; in other words, it ended in about 1656. It was built in memory of Emperor Shah Jahan. He has even written a poem in memory. India is located in Asia, located southwest on the end of China. The capital of India is New Delhi. India borders Pakistan, China, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and Burma.
